Inner Work of Racial Justice

This fall the deacons will be leading a small group of participants interested in doing anti-racism work. Using the book "Inner Work of Racial Justice", the group will ask members think about internal biases, and explore ways to confront racism in our world. This in-person group will be held every-other-week on Sundays at the church. We are asking for participants in this group to be committed to attending the sessions regularly, barring emergencies, in order to help form a cohesive and trusting discussion group. Bible Study

Paige and Pat Curtis have been offering a well-attended Bible study for several years. This group meets on Tuesday evenings over Zoom. The group typically picks one book of the Bible to work through at a time, and encourages discussion. If interested, please click below.

Book Group

Facilitated by the Rev. Andy Gilman, this newer group has already had great discussions on books addressing spiritual issues, such as Kate Bowler's "No Cure for Being Human". They meet in-person on Tuesday evenings. If interested, please click below.

Introduction to the Bible

Last spring there were requests for an introductory Bible study. Led by Pastor Em, this is an in-person group for those who are interested in a broad overview of what the Bible is, what it means in our faith tradition, and how it impacts our lives today. If you've ever been a bit afraid of the Bible, this is the group for you. If interested, please click the times below that best work for you:

Wednesdays at 6pm (before church meetings)

Thursdays at 6pm (before choir)
